Mobile Crisis Response Team 800-658-2429

The Mobile Crisis Team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to adults, children, and families who are experiencing a mental health crisis in the comfort of their own home or other community location.
Services include:

  • Telephone crisis intervention
  • On-site response to assess and stabilize a crisis situation
  • Short-term stabilization services through brief on-going support
  • Individual and family education
  • Referrals to other local services
  • Crisis prevention planning

How to I access services? To contact the Mobile Crisis Team, call 1-800-658-2429. We will gather information about the situation, and if needed, can send out two crisis team members to meet with you. You can call directly or a referral can be made by a case manager, family member, or other support person.

Do I have to be a certain age to qualify for this program? No. Any person of any age can access Mobile Crisis Services. However, you need to be in Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Redwood, or Yellow Medicine County.

Where will the crisis team meet me? Services can be provided in a variety of locations. Some include your home, hospitals, jails, community offices, IRTS programs, waivered service programs, or other community locations.

Will I be charged for this service? The Mobile Crisis Team will ask for your insurance information to bill your insurance company. However, if you do not have insurance, you will not be billed directly. If your insurance company does not cover mobile crisis services, you will not be billed directly.
